# Getting Started

> Your journey to becoming an on-chain venture capitalist.

SOAR is unlike traditional platforms that require complex external setups, it’s a self-contained ecosystem where your profile *is* your gateway to participating in startups. Follow these four steps to begin

### Access The Platform

To begin, navigate to the official SOAR [**homepage**](https://launchonsoar.com). From there, click the **"Launch App"** button in the top right corner. Alternatively, you can go directly to the [**<u>App</u>**](https://app.launchonsoar.com)<u>.</u>

### Create Your Profile

Once on the app, locate the login/signup section in the top right corner.

1. **Email Onboarding**: Enter your email address to either create a new profile or log in to an existing one.
2. **OTP Security**: Access is secured via a **One-Time Password (OTP)** sent to your email. You must enter this code to verify your email and gain access to the platform's features.
3. **Automatic Wallet Generation**: The moment your profile is generated, a unique on-chain wallet is automatically created for you. There is no need to have a separate external wallet to begin participating in the ecosystem.

### **Secure Your Assets**

While the platform manages the technical layer, you maintain full sovereignty over your funds.

* **Exporting Your Phrase**: Under the menu in the top right corner, you can select **"Export Secure Phrase"** to back up your credentials. This requires a fresh OTP verification for security.
* **Primary Recommendation**: Because your email is the gateway to your OTPs and wallet access, you should enable **Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)** on your email account to maximize your security posture.

### **Fund Your Account**

To participate in DRP-standard launches, your integrated wallet needs to be funded with **USDC** or **USD1** on the **Solana** network.

* **On-Chain Transfer**: You can send Solana-native USDC directly to the wallet address displayed in your profile menu.
* **Fiat Deposit**: For those without existing on-chain assets, use the integrated **Coinbase** portal to deposit USDC directly from a bank account or credit card.
