# Contributing To Projects

### **The Asset: Ownership Coins (OCs)**

When you participate in a launch, you are not simply "buying a coin".

* **Authorized vs. Issued**: 100% of Authorized Tokens represent 100% of the company’s future value. However, only a small fraction (typically \~5–7%) is issued at launch for public participation.
* **Senior Debt Claim**: Your OCs function as the instrument used to measure an obligation on the company’s future liquidity.

### **The Mechanics of Participation**

Participation is handled through a streamlined "Swap" interface within the SOAR app. 

* **USD1 Entry**: You swap your Solana-based USD1 directly for OCs through the platform's integrated bonding curve.
* **The "Burn the Boats" Integrity**: Because SOAR enforces an FDV = Market Cap standard, you are protected from the "hidden supply" dilution found in other markets. There are no "team wallets" or venture unlocks that will dump on your position; the founders must request future tokens.

### **Safety Constraints: The 3-Month Freeze**

To prevent predatory market manipulation and ensure founders focus on business building, every launch includes a mandatory Launch Freeze.

* **Post-Launch Lock**: For the first 90 days (3 months), no additional tokens can be minted.
* **Incentive Alignment**: This period ensures that the only path to value for both the founder and the participant is the long-term viability of the underlying startup, not short-term price speculation.

### **The Path to Exit (Liquidity Events)**

Participation may conclude when the underlying business reaches a "Liquidity Event" (LE), such as an Acquisition, Series A/B/C funding, Exit, or Going Public.

* **Automatic Settlement**: Upon an LE, the company must pay a percentage of its total value back to SOAR. This percentage is measured by the circulating supply of the **OC**.

### **Participant Rewards & Yield**

Active participants can earn additional value beyond simple token appreciation through the **Participant Referral Program**.

* **Swap Fee Kickbacks (Coming Soon)**: Receive direct fee kickbacks from the users you refer.
* **Point Multipliers (Coming Soon)**: Participants who connect their X accounts and engage in social discovery can earn a 10% point bonus mirrored from their referees' activity.
